My bespoke seats

Just make sure the wife doesn't get too excited when she sees diamonds imprinted on yer back and arse !

Just a friendly heads up ..

Looking great! Love the design.

I do have one question, for the door cards, it looks like the material covers the whole panel without a seam, unlike the original Z4 doorcards. The seam is designed to split when the side air bag goes off. What will happen if your side airbag needs to deploy?

Andrew.

I did ask about this Andrew and was told the central panel actually pops off as the bag deploys with considerable force but great point you have raised

You've got to be happy with that! Have you thought about getting the whole door leathered?

It didn't occur to me to get the whole door card leathered but will probably get it done in summer along with the sun visors.

Appreciated Adam

Thanks to everyone for the positive responses, really appreciated .

a re trim is a very nice mod, had the same kind of diamond stitching put into ex SWIMBOs car... in purple!!! she loved it...

I agree with you OP... the interior never seems to get many mods, yet we spend most of our time in there.... lol

they look great...

I would recommend a company called Dr Leather to keep the seats looking great, their wipes are fast any easy to use... no need for all the different potions and lotions.... ;-)

Very nice indeed!

I'm guessing you won't be letting anyone eat or drink in that car.

 I know what you mean but It's still a car at the end of the day and I wouldn't try taking a a bag of crisps from a hungry woman ! The mrs is petite but in that scenario would be quite scarey :punch:

If you get it done would you update the thread with the cost? Ive been looking to have it done for ages.

Looks great Mo, really like that

Did he re-use all the leather & just stitch the original, or basically replace the door cards and seat panels with new, just retaining the original sides and headrests on the seats ?

looking great and i think the size of diamond and the fact they don' t look over stuffed is a sign that you got them right
