24 in a 3.0 in traffic is good, it's nearly as good as me and you got more horses.
Found out what it was that was making the bad mpg,,,,,,,, me, I drove like a retard for 30 miles around town and a bit of countryside and did 37.5. I can't be driving round like that, I might as well have a micra, 32 mpg it is. :?

As far as driving fast goes, co-workers are always commenting on my "weird" driving style. Some people just don't get the concept of momentum conservation.
In my opinion there's three kinds of fast driving style.
There's the chav style ->> drag racing between lights etc,
the smart kids ->> keep the momentum up by braking less and therefore accelerating less,
And then there is the racer style which has no place on GB roads...
I pulled away like an old lady in a yaris, I did my upmost not to go too far up the rev counter, (which is dangerous watching that), I didn't coast anywhere, I kept to the speed limits but like the people that get on my tits, I took a millennia to get to them, if i ever reached the limit at all, it was depressing, it was what I call negative driving, its what cantacerous old men do. Coasting would have got me in the forties I would have thought but I would have slit my wrists by then. I basically drove like everyone else who ruins the driving experience for the person behind them. Back to driving like a yardie in his girlfriends hire car, only kidding, ill find a medium and gain a couple of mpg. D)

I get around 33 average, 35 if doing less in town, gentle run along motorway to Blackpool @ 65mph got 43mpg from 3.0 6spd manual
