Brought back aload of fake Rolex and Breitlings from when I lived in Tenerife, paid a euro a piece for em off a guy I knew, but don't ever wear em.

People who spend hundreds if not thousands of pounds on watches need to give their head a wobble IMO.

Tag Kirium which I've owned for about 13yrs so I think an upgrade is over due, do like the Tag Carreras.

But you could say that about any "luxury" item?

Sure, a £10 - £100 watch will do the same as a £3000+ watch, and in some cases, be more accurate.

But then, a cheap car will do the same as a BMW...haha, sometimes more reliably!

A 32 inch TV will display the same images as a 46 inch TV

An economy airline seat will get you to your destination just as quickly as an Upper class seat...

The list goes on, and not every body who pays "the premium" is a mentalist (obviously, I don't include myself in that...I'm a certified nutter!).
 
Tag F1, 2 Rados, a Technomarine, a Breitling starliner, a Rolex and a audemars piguet royal oak. Looking at a jaeger le-coultre reverso today.

As for comments on how much people spend on watches, they are engineering masterpieces with the finest attention to detail. That's what your paying for. A good watch will last you a lifetime and be something to pass down to any children or family if you so wish. Not something that can be said about most things in life. But each to their own.
 
My grandfathers old Swiss automatic rotary, it's older than me and nice for casual or workwear under a shirt. Will treat myself to Rolex one day but would want a subtle one...

Tag Heuer aquaracer which I wear for casual and my cherished Tag Heuer Carrera calibre 16 for smart occasions.

Nice watches aren't for everyone, but each to there own. Bit like owning a nice car in a way, as mentioned above. :)

Mines a Seamaster Planet Ocean, black face and dial, the small size. Came with metal bracelet but changed for the black rubber one with orange stitching.

I like the orange ones like yours, but a bit loud for me!

None of that is true though...

1) A cheaper car doesn't drive the same as a BMW or give you the same enjoyment/fun. Otherwise we'd all be driving one instead.
2) You'll gain much more of a viewing experience watching a 46 inch TV then a 32 inch.
3) An upper class seat is more comfortable and a better service then an economy seat.

As far as I can see, a cheap watch will tell you the time just as well as a watch costing a couple of grand... And in terms of appearance and style a watch costing £100 or whatever will look just as nice as one costing £6,000 unless you're going to crack out a microscope and really examine it. The only difference is a watch costing £6,000 tells people you've got money to burn.

I didn't mean any offence with the "give your head a wobble" comment so please don't take any, fair play to those of you who've worked hard enough to have that sort of disposable income to spend on an expensive watch, I guess coming from a much poorer working class background then most on here I don't see the luxury in the same way, wouldn't know a £6,000 from a £100 if it smacked me in the heed.
 
iPhone ... Or car.

Have a few watches around, including some oldies (fathers, grandfathers etc) but don't wear one. Can we have an option for "naked wrist" on the poll?
