So the garage haven't come along at all as I have been away on holiday. It is now water tight with felt and battens on the roof doors on the front and windows in. Hopefully fit a side door in the next few weeks.
I have had a bit of luck finding some machinery. I was speaking to a older guy that comes in to our workshop yesterday and he said he had some machines. So I went over to see him today. I have got myself an old but hardly used milling machine, a chop saw and a sturdy bench drill. All I need now is a lathe some electric
I've missed a lot while I've been away by the looks of it!
Build looks very nice, asked lux if you were still machining and he pointed me here. Let me know when you're up and running, want some exhaust tips to brighten up the rear!
So i have had a fairly productive weekend on the Project. Spent all day Saturday scraping off the old lime wash. It was really thick and flaky so needed to come off it was a horrible job Still its 90% done now so hopefully i will get the inside painted this week. Sunday was much more fun one of my best mates is an electrician. I had an old consumer unit from our house and other bits n bobs left over. My mate had a free morning so we set about some electricery We have the power connected up from the house to the consumer unit and a light wired in 1 plug socket and an extension lead. Its obviously not finished but i can work out there now when i get home from work.
I know what your saying it was a bit chilly!! But i had my long johns on and a woolly hat it was ok. And its dry so not really that bad plus spring and summer are better for sitting in beer gardens!!
Spent ages out side at the coal face today. The painting is coming along a lot of finishing off jobs done. The last door is nearly fitted. I will be building up the gable ends tomorrow so brick/ stone work nearly done
I will get some pictures tomorrow so if your interested you can see for yourselves.
