Quite a good update coming hear. Its not finished but i am very close so i will soon be able to get the machines in. And start work on the zed at long last.
So i took a few extra days off over Easter to get the drive way sorted. Now nothing is ever as simple as just doing one job. So before i could start the drive way i had 3 things to do
1 put in and connect up a wast pipe so i can have a sink.
2 put in a and connect a water pipe so i can have a tap for the sink. I was a bit scared about this one i had never worked or connected into a water pipe before and it seemed stupid to cut into a perfectly non leaking pipe.
3 put in a armored cable for lights and electric gates. So i had to dig lots of trenches and and make a hole through an 18" thick Cotswold stone wall to get the pipes cable in to the workshop.
That all took 2 days and i felt like i was getting no where. As once it was all back filled and built back up there was little evidence i had done anything.
So then it was laying the drive way there was 6 tones of concrete mixed by myself and laid onto the ground for the bricks to be bedded onto. The bricks are mostly old engineering bricks that where originally on the drive when we moved in. With a few red pavers mixed in so that we could cover a larger area. The pavers where also brought because they where left overs at builders yard and i got them cheap!! Once they where all layied all i had to do was spread 6 yes 6 tones of grave around the edges. So i managed to spread the last 3 tones last night after work before i went out. I done it in an hour and 45 minutes and i think that's bloody good going!!
So some pictures first a few of the house as we brought it 5 years ago. We have done quite a bit of work

Some of the drive being done.

And done apart from a few small jobs.
So now all i need to do is point all the gaps and clear all the rubbish away. Re do a bit of stone work and build the kitchen area and i have all weekend..... Hoping for some better weather. Thanks for reading this completely non car related thread i hope the next updated is the finished machines in final one
