Monkey exhaust tips

Wow that sounds like good service. I have given up worrying about the paint on my car! I brought it knowing it was crap. One day soon I will get it fixed!!

No it's not a mod it's an enhancement :thumbsup: anyone can fit them promis if it goes badly witch it won't I will be on the end of a phone or on hear to help :thumbsup:

I am busy for a few weeks with what I have got already. Hopefully I can get it done sooner but I won't take the cash until I am ready to make them.

Will do Andy hopefully don't be long.

Been out there tonight having a okay. Setting tools up getting the speeds right for cutting that kind of thing. Any way 1 set of tips ready for welding :thumbsup:
 
I will be glad when this thread stop popping up at the top of my feeds, I don't like shiney things but even I am getting tempted by some, and knowing that Monkey is making these just down the road from me makes it even worse! :?
 
So a little update if you have paid your deposit your tips should be ready soon. Hears a progress picture.

I am not happy with the taper machined into the 76mm tips so i will re do those tonight

They all need welding up to the correct type fittings for the cars and polishing. Hopefully in the post and with you all by next weekend.
 
Well if you came to me i would weld them on for free. But i cant comment on what someone else would charge?

But they are held on with a m5 bolt and locking nut. So welding is IMO unnecessary.
 
They look great MM,good for you.I will let things die down a bit then I'm sure I will succumb to these fine tips.
 
Can anyone confirm that the z4M has a 60mm diameter exhaust pipe that the tips fit on to? I am 90% sure but I want to be 100% before i welled up the tips and send them out!!
 
This may be a stupid question but how do these differ from the original tips? I.e, are they bigger, better material etc.. They look great but just want to know what the actual modification / upgrade is.
 
It's personal taste I guess they are a bit bigger. And some facelift cars have a satin finish not polished like these.

Ok so if you have ordered exhaust tips they are all made and welded. Just need to drill and tap the fixing nuts take any sharp edges off and polish them. I will do my very very best to gave them too you for next weekend.
