Really like the "fuller" look that Marius has.
Do you know if bolting them on was straight forward?
(He's not on here to ask)

I've had mine off in the past to clean and it was really simple (just a screw underneath).

It looks like MM's use the same fitment.

Cheers, these look really good. Next purchase I think.
I love the side indicator covers too but I've no idea right now what to get.
Looking forward to seeing what others do with them.

Here are mine. They are brushed; basically the same as Swiftly's so I've added some pics of alternative angles.

Really pleased - had some good comments about them from mates and strangers. Apart from looking good, they are really easy to clean.

They look fantastic, I might have to order some :)

Wow full time job replying to this thread!! :D

As for do they just bolt on the answer is yes. They are bigger at the end you see. But at the other end they are made to fit your car model year. And are held on with an M5 bolt and locking nut.

The side indicator covers are in the tread about my car picture 5

Right their is quite a demand for tips. Now I have just brought the roof tiles for my garage and it has left me a little short. I brought some material but no where near enough !! You can either wait until pay day the end of the month. Or if you want them sooner I will need a deposit so I can order material sorry to ask!! I am quite trust worthy

Machine monkey, from my experience I would not make anybody a tip until they have paid, some people on here WILL let you down

Ok Taz I have heard that from other members too.

To be honest there is 14 people in the list I can't front all that material at the moment. I have left myself really short buying the tiles for the roof!

If you are serious can you please either pay in full or put a deposit of £15. There might be a bit of a wait so if you would rather wait a while I understand.

Is it safe to post on hear my PayPal??

I totally agree, money up front certainly makes sense, buying in materials etc... Now crack on with these Monkey and then sort out my side repeaters

So guys i have a few confirmed orders that i will be making tonight and over the weekend. It allows me to buy some more material.

Dave can you just confirm that a 60.5mm fitting would fit onto an M exhaust?

Thanks Paul

money up front mate for sure,at least you know where you stand.
im sure no one can expect to have something custom made and not pay up front for said items
god your gonna be busy have fun :D

Thanks GT i was worried people might think i was being off asking for cash/deposit upfront.

Good job i enjoy it!! Grate thing about doing this at home i get out of cleaning jobs around the house.

MM you must take full payment up front I wouldn't expect you to do it any other way and nobody would think badly of you for doing so. I did send you a message about these a while ago but haven't done anything yet but I have just had all my wheels refurbed and I pick the car up tomorrow morning with the front bumper freshly resprayed so it should look amazing :)

So I think I should get some of these famous monkey tips to enhance it BUT I am not mechanically minded at all so what do I do?

My car is a facelift 2007 3.0si are they a standard length and do you know what that is? Am I right in thinking they just bolt on and even an idiot like myself could do that :). So what I am saying is do you know exactly what size length etc I need?

Hi Andy

Thanks as long as it's seen that way. Yes I do remember us chatting about them. Wow sounds like you have had a lot of work done it's going to look great

I have all the information for your car. They are really simple on your car the old tips are held on with spring clips. Just give them a good pull maybe a tap from behind with a soft face hammer. The new ones will be a good fit on the pipe push them on until they are where you want them. Then tighten the bolt and then tighten the locking nut job done.

If your close to ox28 I will fit them for you.

Well I had the wheels done but he used a primer that he hadn't used before and they started to bubble so he has redone them and they look great, and when I bought the car it had a big chip near the front BMW logo which was badly touched up with the wrong colour!!! So I was going to get that bumper done and I spoke to the guy tonight who is a superb body shop specialist, he said the colour match is spot on and it looks amazing :)

He did say that the bumper has been sprayed before and very badly done! He said it wasn't keyed in properly so I am looking forward to getting it tomorrow.

I am not into mods but I just feel your tips will really enhance the appearance of the car and it isn't really a mod is it :) So are you saying you know the exact dimensions for my car and I don't need to measure anything I just leave it to you? If that is the case and you think even an idiot like me could put them on I will have some please  I will pay you just PM me your bank details and I will do a transfer straight away, and anyone who does want these just has to pay up front for them then at least you won't be let down by anyone as someone will let you down if you don't take it up front.
