Don't know. But how unusual is it to have a £32,000, 19 year old car with an S engine to have 3 services (ever). One of those was the 'running in service'.bigwinn said:How unusual is it to have an M with non heated seats?
By the time they become “classics” in 20 years time there won’t be any petrol to make them go, it will be illegal to drive them and we will all have been forced into EVs. I’ll of course will be dead by then so will be passed caring.Pondrew said:Don't know. But how unusual is it to have a £32,000, 19 year old car with an S engine to have 3 services (ever). AND.....an apparent selling point is that one of the previous owners was a professional racing driver, who also didn't get it serviced by the look of it!
Two word spring to my mind.....the second is OFF. Just in case....the first one is f**k
If you want that kind of money for a very low mileage nineteen year old anything, no matter how shiny, how rare, how pretty, it needs to be impeccable in every way. This is 2025, not 2021. It isn't a 'classic', not yet. TBH I don't think any Z4 will ever be a classic. But who knows? Maybe one day. Just not yet.

flimper said:Not ideal on the servicing obviously, but less than 500 miles done since last service in 2011? Hardly worth writing it off for?
Because he’s selling it :wink:Beerman said:flimper said:Not ideal on the servicing obviously, but less than 500 miles done since last service in 2011? Hardly worth writing it off for?
When the oil is that old it will not be offering much lubrication to the engine. It doesn't take much miles to cause damage.
I see he's changed the oil and filter himself prior to the sale. Why not a proper service and inspection?
