Hi,

I took advantage of the nice weather today and finally got round to a few jobs I have been meaning to do for a while.

That being; waterproof and clean the hood, paint the callipers silver and remove the residue from the '2.0i' badges.

First job was to vac the hood, as it was covered in lambs wool wash mat hairs...

Nice work sir!

Looking very smart! I also thought about the calipers at the weekend. Mine look decidely ropey but didnt want them to be red. Silver is definitely the answer.

I liked the autoglym hood cleaner, bought mine up a treat when I did it last year! Although I'm not as bad ass as you though - I taped up the windows first - I was guaranteed to get it on the glass and it's a nightmare to shift.

Awesome looking car, love the colour and the plate finishes it off a treat!

Silver callipers really give the car a cheap and easy refresh, well worth doing.

I was really pleased with how well the cleaner brought the hood up. Looks really black and stain free now.

Oh and I was carefull with the waterproofer :wink:
 
Very nice job indeed Matthew! Caliper is a must on these, and the wheel hub bit that's on show. I did mine all gloss black, they don't stand out but there's no orange in site!

Really love the colour of yours.

great pictures Matt, i park in that complex every day for work! I work in dean clough! in D mill! cars looking great! wish i could say the same about mine lol! let me know if you want to go for a bit of a photoshoot some time!
