Matthew's 2007 Z4 2.0 Sport

I just think its really hard to photograph. My Canon seems to really struggle with it, unless in direct sunlight.

Love the colour though, other than probably white, it's the one I would have chosen regardless.

Thanks mate.

So glad I went for one now. The Golf (GTI) may have been a better all-round car, but this brings a smile to my face the Golf could never do! :D

Well this morning I finally got round to fitting some xenon look H7 bulbs to go with the projectors.

I have always sworn by MTEC H7s from Japan, and after many cut finger I finally got them in.

They look 1 million times better than the horrible yellow ones (pics to follow).

Also put some new Bosche wiper blades on as the ones already fitted were dead.

The wheels are the heaviest wheels I've ever had to fit to a car (possibly due to the run flats maybe?)

Result: A bad back...

I had no idea you were a bit sort Matthew ;)

Look forward to the bulb pics, then a link for me please.

Got a link to the ones you bought?

Fitted them to other cars in the past? Interested to know if they are good at night as I'm after something brighter than standard candles without going HID...

I get them from EBay - just search 'MTEC H7'. I paid aprox £12 for them.

I have used them on a few different cars now (Clio 182s and Golf GTIs) and they are great to be fair.

The car all tucked up under the ClassicAdditions half cover.

Was nice this morning not having to de-ice the car!

Well worth the £50.

Hi Matthew,
I'm interested in purchasing on of those covers, looks great. Can you let me know if it is the Waterproof Half Outdoor Car Cover XS from the classic additions site please? I'd just like to be sure before I order. Cheers mate

If you select "Z4" it brings it straight up. It's the outdoor waterproof half cover from Classic Additions.

I've got the same half cover from Just Roadsters and find it great - comes with a zip up bag to keep it in the boot and I use it all the time - hoping it helps keep water out the hood motor - we shall see.

I bought a piece of metal bar that screws into the wheel nut so that you have something to support the wheel when you take it off and when you replace it it acts like a guide and holds the tyre up whilst you put in the other wheel nuts - there's a post about them on here somewhere or just check on ebay - that's where I got mine - I keep it in the boot with the rest of the inflation kit - very helpful when you're on your own trying to take your wheels off and on.

How are your Bosch wiper blades? I've got a set to fit/replace the originals - any lift at speed? Let me know and thanks.

:driving:

That's a great idea! I will have a look into one.

The wipers are really good - one issue though, the passenger wiper doesn't take away all the water, I think due to the curved nature of the screen?

Quite annoying for passengers...

Nice motor!
Looks carbon black to me.
In dull cloudy weather does it look Black, but in sunlight you see the metalic Blue come out?
