Matthew's 2007 Z4 2.0 Sport

Congratulations! Love the colour and looks very tidy indeed.

Welcome as a fully fledged Sport owner! :driving:

Well, I have just got the car home. I'm absolutely made up. I can't stop smiling!

As soon as I got off the motorway, the top was down, blowers on full and heated seats on maximum attack mode. I've not had a car where people actually look at it as you drive past. It's abit uncomfortable to be honest.

In terms of power, undoubtably if price wasn't an issue the 3 litre would be what I went for but I can say this categorically; you have to rev it (its NA after all) but it shifts for sure! It's definitely fast enough for me and I'm glad I went for it now.

Returned 44mpg back home from Manchester too, which was nice. Really made up with it

The seats and steering wheel are epic also.

Some proper pictures to follow at the weekend.

Class - looks superb. The Sport spec adds some great extras.

Would definitely change the runflats when you get the chance/budget (or at least get some better RFTs than the OEM back breakers). Go ahead and read all the stories on here of how much of a difference it makes... I doubt it can built up enough!

I have noticed the runflats make the steering wheel very twitchy over rough surfaces!

I will wait for the P Zeros to wear down abit before swapping them though.

That was on the run back from Manchester (motorway at 65 all the way)

Its now dropped to mid 30's after some town driving!

The wheel trying to follow the ruts in the road will almost disappear. The skittishness, especially the rear skipping slightly over bumps, probably won't. It's a feature! :driving:

Matt, re the rear badge, it's got two pins and it just prises off, a new one just pushes on. I need to order the same.

One of my favourite things of getting a new (used) car; the first interior clean and the little things you find.

Its fair to say its been sat for a while as it was so dusty. Also found a pack of pain killers under the seat and an AUX in socket - result!

Gave the exhaust tip a shine with some Britemax too, it was soot'd up. Five minutes later and it looks a lot better. I will return for a second go at the weekend.

Took a few pictures on the iphone...

clean it with decent hood cleaner, i use gtechniq then soak in water repellent for the hood again i use gtechniq smart fabric. Its great stuff. Check out youtube video of it your be impressed ;)

My 2.0i Sport has electronic oil 'gauge' - read your manual to see that the pressing of the left (?) button between the speedo/rev counter will bring up assessment and indication. Not a system I like but it does work effectively enough.

:driving:

Give me a bloody dip-stick any day! ha

On a different note - is my car "Monaco Blue"?

I believe it is, but wanted to check as I will be ordering a touch up pen for a few stone chips on the front bumper.
