Maintenance Day for a fellow Z4-Forum Person

Remember, it's not running the car that breaks in the new o-rings, it's the changing RPM's that move the vanos pistons (city driving) that breaks it in.....

500 highway miles will not break in the o-rings....

Glad it went well...

If you really think of it, the design of the engine is marvelous.

Makes sense! So it will take me like 3 months to do that then, i live 10 miles from work and it's all highway. And i do agree the engine design is utterly brilliant, but do we have to cram it in the engine bay???? Especially in the Z it has such a long hood you would think there would be plenty of room!
