Looks really good, MM! I know you weren't thinking of doing it, but tinting/clearing those front indicators would really enhance the front end (IMHO)

Thanks guys. Once polished up it should be something really special i hope.

Yeah i am getting to like the silver mirrors aquazi. They definitely dont look bad.

I am on a one man crusade to save the orange indicators from extinction Mark!! I actually really like them against the blue. And it seems like a lot of effort for not a lot to me personaly. Opening up the lights and painting them black would work.

Dose anyone know if you can get the xenon lights with a black background??

Niel we will have to meet up for some pictures once i am happy with the car

I'm with you on the orange party mate

but as for blacked xenon's, I've personally NEVER seen a car with blacked inners and xenons..
I'm sure they must exist, just never seen them, so they're probably rarer than red m seats

Its a 2 man quest then Ian!!

I haven't seen them either  Never mind. I wont be cutting them open to do any time soon. I might try some of that fly eye stuff. As its non permanent if i dont like it.

think dodgy bank robber pulling his hooker girlfriends unwashed tights over his fat, sweaty bold head and 70's pornstar stach.
That's pretty much my opinion of how good the fly eye stuff looks

   Well that's put me off that idea!!!

You can definitely get black inners and Xenons - i saw a 2.5 with Xenons and it had black inners.. but thought with your skills would just be easier to sp0lit your lights a.. maybe body colour them instead!

I think i probably will end up cutting mine open. It would be nice to have a quick easy swap. I have spent far to many hours working on the car this year already. Now to drive and clean it.
Maybe a winter project.

I used fly eye on my lights. It looked s**t so I took it off straight away and forked out for the proper laminex stuff from the states. Worth the money because it also stops the lights from fading

Thanks Gav

Yeah the whole car needs a dam good clean. It literally just came out the spray booth.

A good deep clean is needed. If you guys where to see inside you would all freak out. And probably string me up!!!

I also have black inners and Xenons

Mine aren't original though... the Alpina usually comes with the chrome/ginger option, both of which I wasn't a fan of when I bought mine. I've since removed all the ginger (apart from rear lights where it doesn't bother me), removed the chrome (lettering, lights etc) and split the lights - the inners were painted satin black.

Since this photo, I've also replaced the chrome outer with a set of black kidney grills, and refurbed the alloys in anthracite.

I am also looking at other options around the angel eyes - these look interesting, as they can also hook into the indicator circuit..
