Machine monkeys zed

That looks an easier way of doing it. Is it still possible to mount the motor in the boot doing it like this?

I guess so. You can disconnect and reconnect all the lines pretty easily and it will prime itself automatically afterwards, as long as you don't lose too much fluid.

It isn't easier but it is quicker. The main problem is that you have to do all the work in a really tight space, so removing the roof completely would still be the way to go if you have time and, obviously, the monkey cave.

Dose the crazy ass spoiler make more sense now??

Still no, but I respect it more now. :D

Oooooohhhhh....

Not too much of a faff. Easily done in a day, but need to let the silicone sealant set for 24 hours in a dry place that isn't too hot, else you risk moisture getting in. I speak from experience here

I've got angel eyes for mine to go in. Not had the chance yet. Will be doing them when I get the car on the ramps to sort out the broken handbrake.

Monkey man, lovely work! Those AE's look awesome in the foglamps. Also ove the colour!

They are so easy to do in the fog lamps. I cant remember exactly i did them ages ago. But it was done and dusted in a lunch brake.

I am sure the glass comes off then drill a small hole thread the wires. Ten glue them in place and splodge silicone over the hole to seal them up.

Is that the industry Standard splodge

I suppose its all relative. And what your idea of cheap is!! Apart from my diff its the biggest single out lay i have spent on my zed. More even than the paint job. But that came in at about £300 excluding building the spray booth.

They where less than £600 so for these seats cheap.

That's a good price MM, I'm assuming they are heated? Bet you cant wait to get them fitted. The difference when pushing hard through the bends is very noticeable - holds you in place, feels more connected to the car :driving:

Not heated but i can fix that i have a few heating pads.

Yeah i have always liked the look of them. And after driving Mr Willks M last weekend i had to get some.

That's the thing isn't it, I would be wondering what all the fuss was about if I hadn't had them in my previous Zed. I have standard leather seats in my SI and miss them desperately. Bet you had a blast in Andy's ///M
