Yes, the steering gives way more feedback. And the M seems far less prone to lighting up the TC light if you hit a bump mid-corner - but my Sis were both on Bridgestone run-flats.
Jeez, how did you put up with that? I drove a demo Z4C 3.0Si on a very familiar road and it lost traction on every ridge / road join under power. Abysmal ride too. A Corvette with twice the power had no problems, even a Tamora! I had a 330i N52 briefly on run flats, that wasn't nearly so bad, but still was greatly improved by junking the run flats, as was the 2017 118i my folks are running.
