Hhhmm  black ZMC extended amarone 106k kinda gives the game away

I very nearly went to view that car last summer, but the seller and I both had a change of heart around the same time!

Congratulations to "blobslosak".

ETA You're now on the same journey I embarked upon in December!

Enjoy it , having owned both you will be in a good position to offer thoughts & comment as to whether the S54 is worth the extra running costs over the Si

Si Sport for M Money? https://www.motors.co.uk/car-56369160/?utm_source=newsnow&utm_medium=marketplace&utm_campaign=all-vehicles

Can only think they mistakenly priced it up in euros then added VAT :P knock 3o% off & it "might" be close to someone showing interest in it

If prices do drop on the M's, I really don't see the point in selling unless you really really have to. For £10k-£13k you might as well keep it rather than give it away for such little money. It's a cool car that is so rare on the roads....that alone is worth keeping it, even as a 3rd car.

My missus is trying to buy a Lazy Spa today, sold out nationally and they are going on Ebay for £2k.....for a f*cking paddling pool....I say keep your M's if you can!

Yeah it'll be interesting. Initial thoughts were the steering is way more communicative than I remember on the si, and the car feels bonkers fast, though acceleration you do get used to. I suspect on a B road, unless your above 6.5k often there won't be much difference. The gear change is as terrible as I remember however, but I enjoyed mastering it the first time round. The brakes also feel more progressive than I remember, under servo'd compared to modern cars which I'm pleased about.

And thanks Mr Tidy.

Yes, the steering gives way more feedback. And the M seems far less prone to lighting up the TC light if you hit a bump mid-corner - but my Sis were both on Bridgestone run-flats.

Yeah it is lovely example in terms of the spec (even if I don’t like the door cards much), and had some good recent work. The mileage is what makes me question it’s worth, I am looking to bid but wan to work out my ceiling.

Bid with confidence, reputable auction house

Jeez, how did you put up with that? I drove a demo Z4C 3.0Si on a very familiar road and it lost traction on every ridge / road join under power. Abysmal ride too. A Corvette with twice the power had no problems, even a Tamora! I had a 330i N52 briefly on run flats, that wasn't nearly so bad, but still was greatly improved by junking the run flats, as was the 2017 118i my folks are running.

The back suspension on any Z is poor...

I could have the wheels off the floor at speed in my Z4M's the compliance is so bad.

Yep, Itching to get my set of KWV3’s on the roady to see just how much better they make the car, as known it’s far too skittish OEM, back end especially bad.

Maybe over 6 years with a 1 Series on run-flats made me a bit more tolerant of them! But never trying an Si without run-flats probably helped as well.

My 3 Series still has them but they are only 17s and don't feel nearly as bad on that.

I've always used balance motorsport for my KWs they are well priced normally, if you give them a call they can normally do a little something too
