If they're selling so quickly as seems to be the case for a lot of cars mentioned in this thread then i can see the price creeping up even more. When you look at the prices for the 1M and CSL then these look a complete bargain, even at 20k, and people are starting to realise this.
Great news for us owners as it means we can either wrap it up and potentially make a little money, or use it and lose a pittance/nothing
Not sure the prices are going to "make a little money", cost of servicing, insurance, tax, storage, cleaning products etc for any one year would probably still outstrip any appreciation.
Even so, it helps to minimise costs
Yep, agreed. If you service these cars correctly, and fit decent tyres etc, I can't see you making any real money at all, unless you don't drive them, but there is no fun in that, and if you wanted an investment, I'm sure there are plenty of other options!
What makes these cars great is at present, they are not really depreciating like most other cars, so the cost to own them and run them if you buy cash is a bargain for the performance.
Saving on the depreciation is really what counts, as it's usually the biggest expense during ownership, especially with newer cars.
