M market watch

Will be interesting to see how quickly it goes without the nav. Reckon someone should offer your price+price of a warranty+tiny profit margin :).
Looks a nice car and prefer not having the nav personally. I onced owned a Black E30 M3 and on selling it decided would never have a black car again. Lovely when clean
And I think they won't sort the rattles. My Z4 M COupe had a few on rough roads but on the same roads my previous Si COupe that I felt had a harsher ride had no rattles at all.
WOn;t be surprised if I get a call about it as are aware I#m ideally looking for a car without nav

Well I got my bargain ///M roadster home, gave it a madman scrub on the inside with some wipes and it's come up like brand new, unmarked clean & crisp interior. Then, opened the boot lid to vacuum the carpet in the boot... what did I find? OEM wind deflector clipped into the boot lid, BEST...DAY...EVAH :crazydude:

Nice find, presume you are tackling the engine bay in the morning.

Something like this would be better, and this is dusty

Off topic, the strut looks great. Is it not a pain to fit the M3 one?

Looks a nice example. Not my preferred spec...

Other than having to cut a couple of mm off the top of the camber pins it was a straight fit.

The car above has push button start according to the ad

I think there is only 6 imola/ champagne combo cars.. Other 40 odd or so are black trim..

Most have carbon dash though ....

No sure about nav/ no nav ratio

Keep an eye on BMW User Cars
Seeing that car looking fab in red, my perfect combo would be imola red coupe, carbon dash, champagne leather, sun protection glass and NO satnav. Other than that I wouldn't care about what else it had or didn't have :)

Owner was "scotia-steve74" from here. Was advertised for £18k on the forum.

I reckon AUC will have it up for £19k-£20k

I'm saying £22-23k seeing as they have a 70k mile MC up at £19k

I could put up with black leather trim for that exterior colour :).

I reckon this car will be up at 22k-23k @ the dealer.

Oh, the imola red Z4MR @Sytner is definitely sold now. No idea of the purchase price but was up at £18.850 for 29k miles, no sat nav.

Aye if it's an English dealer. No Scottish dealer would sell it at that price cos we're all tight fisted gits

The sytner £22,850 silver grey coupe with three previous owners now appears sold. Amazing that the private owner struggled to sell it at £16,500! I haven't asked but reoved from their website and pistonheads.

I wouldn't say it struggled to sell...it went within a few days and was underpriced IMO.

This is my new car!!

It sold within 24hrs of being advertised privately a couple of weeks ago and I was gutted to have missed out!

Imagine my surprise (and delight) when a close friend at Sytner (although not BMW) told me that it had appeared on their Stock list!

I have seen the car "raw" this weekend - before they have done the cosmetic items (wheel refurbs, fix loose trim, small dent removal, small scuff/marks etc), and the car is having an Inspection 2 Service completed as it is due based on time (not mileage!) along with being sold with a AUC Warranty.

The price agreed is far less than the £22,850 it was advertised at!

Hope that it will be ready to collect in the next week or so!

Tom.

So the inflated advertised prices are not what people are paying. Without wanting to be crass, did you pay closer to the £16.5k the private seller had it up for, or the £22,850 pitched by the dealer ?

Oh, and congratulations Tom, welcome to the club

Interesting that you mentioned those items as the advert described it as just about mint and the list of wheel refurbs, loose trim, dent and scuffs gives me an entire different mental image.

I think 'mint' becomes a relative term as cars age, right ? At least in the eyes of dealers used to seeing similarly aged and mileage cars of other Marques that have not been looked after at all. Not that it's right of course. And they are used car salesmen after all :D
