On the car above, 1 owner is a big thing, and miles are a touch high for the price but from what i see z4m's with low owners / low miles attract a premium , catch one with both and its not going to be cheap ( this one has one of those attributes). I love the red leather, looks in great condition, and those pics remind me how tiny the z4m is.

I would hope so! Available 27/03 though... 3 week lead time, must be a part ex I guess. Excited to see that one, see what BMW think is worthy of £32k price tag if going down the finance route!

Fair play, that is a thing of beauty. I'd struggle to part with ~30k for it but it's flippin magnificent.

Doesn't look like their current cars are selling quite so quickly as previous more competitively priced cars. I think they've pushed the price too high. I have received an email from them that given it is some days after we exchanged emails is meant to be a bit of a prompt - could be wrong though.

Will I be flamed if I say that's low spec? Fine miles and an ID colour push the price up, but it's not shouting well spec'd to me!
It's very similar to a 2008 car that I saw in 2009 (less than 1 year old) that had 0 owners (other than dealer) and 150 miles on it as it sat in the showroom. In 2009 it was offered to me at £25k. It was sepang with beige interior which had been swapped out from another car to replace black

I've noticed this too. They also have some high priced 3.0si coupes for sale. Now maybe they know something I don't, but cars like that sitting on the forecourt when there are so few for sale tells me they are overpriced.
I know they are overpriced for me, otherwise I'd be taking a trip up to see either the blue or red one.
Bear in mind the sun is only just coming back, the days are starting to stretch out... 2-seat sports car hormones (carmones ? ) are only just beginning to be tickled... Setting high expectations now and then dropping the prices slightly to give the impression of a bargain could be quite a shrewd sales technique.

Breadvans that were £10-£12k are now £15k+ if you can find one.
The Z3MR has gained in value significantly when i was looking nice ones could be had for circa £6-£7k there seems to be hardly anything below £10k again if you can find one.
The Z4M is the better car (although i love the looks of the breadvan, i was close to pulling the trigger on the Pheonix yellow one at Hexagon). As a result i think its inevitable that Z4M prices will trend much in the same way as Z3MR prices in that anything below £10k will be 100k+ miles or Categorised.
Equally there seems to be an appetite for good condition, good specification, low mileage Z4MC's between £18-£25k and Z4MR's between £14-£20k. With anything on the market that is new that i would consider a suitable replacement Cayman GT4, Aston V8v, etc upwards of £60-£70k its not really surprising.
I purchased my car nearly three years and 13k miles ago aside from modifications (which i would get most of my money back on) i have spent £750 on servicing, £1k tax , £700 warranty with essentially zero depreciation... which is completely unheard of or in my experience it is

I think a Cayman GTS would be a good replacement rather than the GT4 at what £55k new for a base spec? I love our old Z4's but being now quite old but not yet classic it's a hard decision whether say £28k is worth it for a 7 year old car when a brand new GTS could be had in the region of £55k. That's still a lot of money I know. I'm not sure Z4M's can appreciate in value at least in the short to medium term from the already high dealer prices and wouldn't be surprised to see winter prices later this year much lower again.
E30 M3's spent a long time at low value before rising. I once picked up an Evo 2 (1 of 500) for £5500 and must have been 15 years old at that time - but was not yet classic status.
As a track car I reckon the 2.7 Cayman would probably give the Z4 M a hard time, partly thanks to it's decent weight savings so if one wanted to go trackdaying, would a new £40k Cayman 2.7 be a better option than 7-9 year old cars at £22k-28k?
