M market watch

I thought it's time I tried the M roadster experience. But when I looked at the car it just did not light my fire

Guess it comes down to personal choice between this

or this

After having both coupe & roadster Z4s it would be difficult for me to pick a favourite but you should go with what makes you happy

Yeh, Roof down the Z4MR is a beautiful car. The coupé makes me turn back to look at it as I walk away, not sure the MR would do that for me with the roof up, lines look a bit awkward (same with the hardtop). But anyway, we are getting off topic somewhat :driving:

Now back to how we, as ///M owners can continue to maximise our profiteering potential

Do most roadster owners drive with the tops down cos they themselves realise they look much better that way?

No roady owner could ever argue they look better than a coupe with the roof up but they do look good with roof down 8) maybe still not as stylish as a coupe :o
I really liked the bootlid shape on my roady which the coupe doesn't get , it works with the rest of the cars styling which was designed i assume never to be a coupe :?

I find the roadster looks better viewed from another car? When I stood and walked around to the rear an interlagos blue roadster a few days ago(in company car park), from side view heading towards the rear the pram lid just looked horrid. Following behind one the other day with the roof up I thought it looked nice, even as it went around a bend to expose the same view I disliked when I walked around one close up.

Not bad.........But pushy salesman.....

I went in to buy a Jag and the car was ok....Picked a few problems out and said i wanted a test drive before committing (seems fair?).... They said it wouldnt move until i signed upto the deal...

Told them to F off...... To make matters worse,we was sat in my old office as i was the workshop controller when the building was a Mitsubishi dealer...lol....

Out of interest what was the car like, heard it was a bit rough ?

the car was ok, but I just did not get excited

last time I went in there I thought I was a kia dealer, I was tempted by the Mitsubishi shogun years back

Which M roady did you go to look at Pete?

It's on auto trader. A black sapphire in Oldham. It's over priced I know but it appealed to me cos it was 1 owner and not high mileage

Haven't even attempted to clean the exhausts.

It went to sual dealerships in 2000 with Kia...

Thats when i left........

When you say it was "ok"....... Sounds like it didnt knock your socks off ?

so whats this car worth?

If its worth £16 950 then srhutch should be giving us a whoop whoop :D
Personally think the miles are against it to get that kind of money :? no mention of Ins 2 being done & what work is on the horizon ? Service ? Tyres ?
