If any parties here are interested in the car, I just wanted to add something else that I looked into.
There are BMW stamps which I thought were official but I called BMW GB and the ID number doesn’t come up or the name. When I called the phone number the line was dead and the code is for Surrey when the car was based in the North for a lot of it’s life.
There may be paperwork to substantiate this so I would check with the trader but a bit strange. As is the following stamp as per below which says ‘Independent specialist’ with no number. Again there may be paperwork for this but worth checking.

The IDs are different 71175 as opposed to 77135.
So wouldn’t worry about that.
Best way to verify would be to call BMW Customer Services and ask for a history report so you could ascertain whether the history on their records matches that of the book...
But in general I would just avoid this car.
