Luke and his Z - Getting there!

Bad, the gap is not that bad. I will get something to fill it though somehow cos I know it will annoy me!
Will take a pick tomorrow morning for you.

Ben, were you thinking about getting this one as well!?  sure something will come up again soon...ish!!

List they are doing:

Front Bumper Respray
Rear Bumper Respray
Spoiler Sprayed and Fitted
Front Headlight Indicator Tint
Rear Lights Tinted

Sounds amazing, but you must have too much £££. Ha!

Only thing I'm not a fan of is the spoiler if I'm honest, the back end of the zed (with the duck tail) is probably the best bit, the spoiler looks like too much of an add on for me.

How are they tinting the front indicators Luke? Taking the whole headlights apart etc?

I am not sure its too much £££ i think its the same as me. Luke makes alot of stuff himself and dose most of the jobs himself.

Good work buddy looking forward to seeing the finished result.

Yeah, looking forward to getting it back! Total cost of paint work = My time. Did some work for the guys on one of their motors, also helped them out with a spare compressor we no longer needed. We have a very good working relationship and I like trading 'old school' - time for time!
As Matt says, keep costs low by doing as much work as possible myself  Means my wife has more to spend on her (and occasionally the kids!! :D ) Ooh... Matt, the kids are still waiting on that food package!!

Sorry i got hungry!! tell them i will get them a McDonald's when i see them

Old school you scratch my back i will scratch yours. It works and it works well.

:D HAHA! Will let them know!

Yep, always works best! Plus means i can have cash to get some facelift rear lights...!

I love trading time for time, it suits me just perfect. I just wish I had some more practical commodities to trade. I only have web design and CAD skills.

Are you really sure on the spoiler then Luke? I could be wrong and it could really work, but I'm just not sure on it at the moment. (Hope you prove me wrong).

RJS-Z4, I love the thing! I really like the lines of it and since test fitting it a few weeks back the rear doesnt quite look complete!
You know one of those moments where (in your head) something just looks right... It was one of those moments! I am looking forward to getting it back as they are going to change it very slightly too for me :D

They are just tinting on the headlight itself. I will keep it like that till i get round to doing an AE conversion... down the line

Interested to see that... I've been thinking of doing that as well :-)

I am really eager to see these come out! No picture from them with the spoiler prepped. Soon as I get more (hopefully tomorrow) I'll pop them here

How big is the gap between the M-rear bumper and the pre-facelift lights?

It doesn't look as bad actually. Do you have a pic?

Got a pic of this the evening before it went up paint...

The gap isn't too bad but I have asked the guys to see what they can do to get rid of it :)

Awesome, I can't wait to see it finished,

Me neither!!! hopefully it will either be ready tomorrow evening after work or Friday afternoon. Hoping for tomorrow evening but we will see!!

I have had a think again about the exhaust and after taking to the paint and them saying it didn't sound like it looked, I was a little disappointed with that! Soon as I get it back I will finish adjustments needed and I will also put in a bypass pipe (maybe two!) to add a little extra grunt! I'm still to post up video of how it sounds like now which I will do soon as I get it back!

Hmmm... that's a little worse than I thought :)
Wondering what they will do about it.
