Quad exhaust system......can feel my mouth starting to drool

After sticking the spacers on have you found you're getting any serious stone chips around the wings and quarter etc? I want to space mine but already cringe driving with all the roads falling apart hearing the body work getting pelted with stones!

I didn't have any issues that I noticed with chips and having the spacers on. I wouldn't worry about it

Checked post and Parcel Force are charging £38 to release my spoiler because of import tax! Swines!!
Will hopefully get that on Monday or Tuesday! It's a Birthday present though so I gotta wait till next month to be able to fit it!! I was expecting it to take longer to arrive!

So one thing I have wanted was auto 'overtaking' indicators. When I press the indicator down or up it stays on for 3 or 4 flashes. Been speaking with a sparky friend of mine who suggested using a couple of these...

They are 12v timer relays. So when the switch (indicator) is pressed it will keep the circuit for however long you set it for. Need one for each direction.
These are now ordered and will be here early next week!

Very happy I spent the time to REdo the handbrake gaiter! Really finishes it off. (Inside needs a good clear out though!!)

I must admit I haven't fitted the double stitched one yet but being snowed in its the perfect excuse...that and finishing the clear light angel eye conversion. So gearing up to my start/stop button and not wanting to have a key i decided to have a go at changing the key fob to one off ebay...
I first bought a spare key off ebay that i reprogrammed to open and close, Arm/Disarm the car

Then bought a new case off ebay...

then opened the first key to get to the controls...
easy with a stanley

opened up new case...

popped in chip and closed new case...

Works a charm!!
I will be installing the chip from the Stop start into the remote too. (this will be the new imobiliser)
Will get images when i do that!!

Slowly gearing up though!


Looking forward to friday afternoon with MachineMonkey getting our Quad systems in place! Just checked the phone though whioch says Snow for Friday and Sat

Thanks! Not really. Because the case is not sealed like the original it is easy to take the case apart and change the battery inside. Simples!

I hate to say this but works not looking good this week. Not sure i will have the time to play with cars Your exhaust is ready if you want to pick it up please do. I just cant promise i will be able to come over. I am working on being able to i really want too. I need a little treat and so dose the car. But i have a commitment with work and the snow has done me over!!

I flew front plate commando for a while a few months back and never had an issue. Put it back on for Switzerland trip then changed front bumper before Christmas and never put it on :roll: ill put it back on when it gets sprayed... Eventually!!

The foam was the sound generator foam. Pop a search on foam generator foam mod and it'll take you to a thread about it. Takes 30 seconds to do! (The mod I mean!)
