My new double stitched 'ball sack' arrived today so I've got to take the plunge and fit it btw I have been looking at these xenon kits to fit in halogen lights but can't decide on k rating..do you reckon 6000k looks about right?

Haha! Good luck on fitting it!! It's not too bad! Take your time and it'll look great

I went for the 6000k on mine and am very happy with it. It's a bright white light, vision is great and looks fantastic!

Get a xenon kit mate! They look a decent price on eBay and simple enough to fit

Am I correct in thinking you are talking about the eBay £50-£60 jobbies? I've looked at loads and they all claim theirs are the best etc. undecided at the moment but I've got to do something as my halogens are dire at night

Haha!! TBH, i never saw that till you just mentioned it!

That's one of the reasons I love meets, seeing loads of 'your' car in action on the road

Are 6000k bulbs legal ? And are yours actual xenons, or halos with xenon-like bulbs ?

Ive not read anything to suggest that they are not :? I havent had any issue with the Police and have been through an MOT with them so i guess they are OK!
They are actual Xenon lights too

Luke headlights & fogs look amazing, looking at doing exactly the same to mine (same spec as yours).

Could you be a legend & send me a link to the bits you bought to do it.

I'm unsure whether I can just buy 6k bulbs or whether I need a ballast & bulb kit.

MachineMonkey is a member on here, not sure he's got a website yet but may need one soon. Find him in his strut brace thread and PM him. I guess he'll need your car's key dimensions but is probably not precious about only serving the Z community.

Ive popped up a couple of links on page 9
They are true Xenon lights so if you dont have them you would have to get the ballast and bulb kit. Seen a few on here who have done that without much of a fuss

So this afternoon i have been doing a couple of bits and bobs...
First i have re-sprayed the front grills black. Last time i kept the grill together and the paint didnt want to bind great to it so this time I took them apart and did it properly

Aslo been doing some work with MachineMonkey to get a Quad system made for next to nothing!
Work i have done today...

Cut out SS length to see roughly how long it would need to be

Bent SS to 90* to exit OEM box and run up length of bumper...

Where it will go on Box:

Running over bumper (will sit in middle of gap and not resting on bumper as shown here! Difficult to hold pipe, lye down and take a picture at the same time!!)

After sticking the spacers on have you found you're getting any serious stone chips around the wings and quarter etc? I want to space mine but already cringe driving with all the roads falling apart hearing the body work getting pelted with stones!
