it was all going so well...
today they removed the air tube....which was def good news, she had a sore throat but tht was normal....so we were all v happy...
until about half 7 this evening just before we were about to go...and she started saying she had crushing chest pain...concerning....she looked in so much pain, and so they gave her a big dose of dimorphine....
consultant sat us down and gave us the low down, the chest pain might go away, it has before
or it could be issues with her heart cos for the 6th time ive been told it was a very big heart attack....it may be the dead muscle being such a burden tht its causing pain or it may be fluid still left in her lungs....they just dont know, so dependng on how tonight goes they may transfer her back to the other hospital where they will decide what to do, they said we may need to make some tough decisions as trying to save the heart will most likely cause another bleed on the brain and risk further damage....
we were told its prob best we left her to rest...so when we tried to say bye she wasnt very happy and managed to whisper she wanted to come home, we told her she needed to stay to get better and she attempted to get out of bed....telling her she couldnt come with us made her pull a very very sad face and i shed a few tears as i looked back at her, i felt so sorry for her seeing her in pain and genuinely upset...
so its another wait and see....feels a bit like its back to stage one except this time i could see the pain she was in
things are sent to test us...
