Live your life to the full...

Oh Woots I am so sorry your mum and you and your family have had this happened.
Listen, she's still breathing in and out and that's the main thing.
Same thing happened to my dad but he died there and then. He was driving when he had a heart attack and it killed him pretty much outright.
So, don't lose hope for your mum even if she's a bit not like she usually is, she'll still be there and, as others have said, she'll probably make a full albeit slow recovery.
Big hugs to you and keep your chin up for her. X

Very sad news at anytime of the year, let alone Christmas.

Lifes events can be a great leveller and make us realise what is truely important in life.

Hope everything works out good for you all.

Terrible news.

My family has been through a terrible time with my father in law this year. His issues are all self inflicted through drink but it doesn't make things any easier to take. The doctors on here were a big help when I had questions about his condition and one thing that was said is probably good advice here (sorry, can't remember which member it was). They said that sometimes someones will to survive can beat all the odds. My father in law was given a 30% chance of survival about 2 months ago and is now more or less back to normal.

Best wishes to you and your family Woots. Life feels infinite in your teens but upsetting stuff like this brings about a swift reality check.

Wow Woots, clicked on your link expecting to find some funny story or bit of banter... what a shock! I know I speak for everyone on here (although they are speaking for themselves too) in wishing you and your Mum all the best.

We all have our fingers crossed for her.
