In two weeks time, my twin car port is being doubled to be a quad car port ...
you know I'd be willing to help, though I've no first hand experience of installing these doors...

I got that indoor cover I won on ebay a while back but will need to clean the car before putting it on!Number5 said:Ive only just seen this Dan ! Congratulations, on the Man Cave..
A garage will make a world of difference to your Zed. Peace of mind knowing its dry and stays clean until you want to use it next. However you'll be surprised how much dust still forms on it over a week or two.
Once you get the Roller door on and have a good seal along the bottom, you should be ok, but I still use a dust cover !
Thinking of getting a wifi camera so I can check on it while I'm away....buzyg said:Just spotted, congratts on the house Danand nice work so far on the important bit.

That would mean I'd have to take the mirror down though!buzyg said:DanStarr said:Thinking of getting a wifi camera so I can check on it while I'm away....buzyg said:Just spotted, congratts on the house Danand nice work so far on the important bit.
You could stick a 65" Flat screen on the ceiling in the Bed Room too.

My door now is mounted internally on the pillar so will be no difference? I can afford to lose a few inchs anywayNumber5 said:DanStarr said:My door arrives on thursday excited!
I hope you're able to lose a few inches ? The roller/sectional doors fit inside the pillars rather than between them so you generally lose about 4 or 5" off the length.![]()
Thought about knocking the hall wall down and extending the garage into the lounge ? It would make a nice double with room for a sofa. Basically like having your Zed in the lounge![]()
