Lets see your Watches

Well i had a weak moment & blame the rain for extending my internet time
I know its a quartz movement , that was my preference as finding the Oris BC4 auto chrono too bulky i recently sold it .
Already have a Glycine hand wound KMU & like that so when this GL1001 chrono popped up for silly money ( boxed brand new) i pressed BIN :)
Should be here in 10 days ( from US )

Nice piece

Thanks Gents, must say I do really love the early re-issues. Had the monopusher a few years now, and saw the 2 button one on eBay shortly after selling a Sinn 103 and well, needs must  The new ones are not as well proportioned, a friend bought one after wearing mine and was disappointed with the thicker case. I did see they are bringing out a 417 re-issue in stainless, that would be worth keeping an eye on!

I particularly love the bezel edging I once owned a Oris with that design, it was a Oris Big Crown Pointer

Thought I would have a change for a while so just purchased a Apple Watch 4 for me and a 3 for the wife.

Added a couple of watches to the collection, a Tudor 50s dress watch 41mm so as presence but fits nicely under the shirt cuff. Secondly always wanted to try these it’s a Ball Fireman Racer. On first inspection quality is very good ETA workhorse movement 40mm and a great quality Rubber strap

Very nice, Sir
I love my Fireman II, and as you say, the quality seems very good, with an ETA 2824-2 ticking away inside.
Your Tudor is a very low-key affair, you could wear it with pretty much anything. I've never really looked at that series as I've had my heart set on a Heritage Chrono or a North Flag (I know there's a lot of dislike for the North Flag, but I buy watches I like, not what's flavour of the month on watch forums :P )

You should always buy watches you like. I chose the Tudor because it’s understated but at 40mm no shrinking violet but also thin enough to slip under a shirt cuff very easily.

It’s a 2018 been after one for a while now. When this one came up it’s a gem with the Jubilee hidden clasp bracelet and a Roulette date wheel black red black you get the idea

Probably the cheapest watch in my coillection but one of my favourites. Recommend a product called "Goo Gone" to fully remove the lettering on the case. The secret is to be very, very gentle and persevere - easy to overdo it!
