Probably :lol: but honestly as much as he has admired it he always finds it too big a watch (that coming from a man who wears a AP diver daily?) but I think it looks fine on suppose it's the whole perception thing when you've got it on.
As for a new bracelet from Rolex, 2 options 1) ask them to return the old parts (they have done so with Mikes watches, even the vintage ones) or 2) get your local Rolex dealer to order one and either fit it yourself or get them to do it and then you'll not need to loose the old one.
Btw why does it need a new bracelet? They can replace links and the clasp, they always make it look like new. I've seen the magic they do as unlike your good self Tricky Dicky my other half wore his everyday and never took it off unless he was having a shower but would happily hit it off an engine, the ground, just anything to be honest. If it was getting in the way while working on the car it usually was put on top of the near side strut, as you do.
