Just picked up my M- headlight issue?

No one mentioned changing anything  the car was posted on forum for sale at silly money with black wheels a good while back .
Seems the new owner has some taste & the new silver wheels look

Looks much better now....

In the condensating light i's be surprised if its the bulb and not the ballast... Looks like a lot of water in there :(

Time to make sure it's fed & watered for one of the hoons planned for 28th April... spolit for choice

I would just spend some time on the inside with a hot damp microfibre cloth and get all surfaces cleaned and back to matte finish.

Personally would replace the mats with OEM and for me the steering wheel insets and cowel back to OEm

Would be interested in the springs if you go back to original

The six stack players do unfortunately, mine used to jam all the time. It doesn't work at all anymore so the jamming has ceased to be an issue :P i just connect my iPod and forget about the CD player.

Mine's not jammed once in the 4 year's I've owned it - and it's always got 6 CDs of MP3s in it.

I've discovered that the headlight bulb is infact fine and the faulty item is actually the ballast. Anyone know where I can pick up a replacement quick and cheap or even a rough idea how much one would cost direct from BMW?

Unlucky about the ballast.

Try some local breakers first... Not sure if its the same ballast used in the e46.

Otherwise could try soper lincoln for a decent discount... But prob still be over £200 for the ballast alone

g1344304, welcome - you've gotten yourself a lovely ///M at a great price... I remember posting about this when it was first up for sale and v expensive. Switching the wheels to silver and removing the tints will have completely changed how the car looks for the better, nice job
