Howdy folks, so I picked up my new M. I'm chuffed so far but the only niggle is that one of the headlights is steaming up (which I posted about in another section). In fact the main bulb has already blown so I will try and get that fixed tomorrow and order some new light seals. anything else you'd recommend?

Looks a stunner & all the evidence anyone should need NOT to fit black wheels on a black car . looks so much better ( & more saleable 8) ) with the silvers on

Well done that is a beautiful looking M if it was my car wouldn't change a bloody thing :grin:

Si-forks is tapatalking

Headlight tints aside I think that looks bloody good 8) seems a lot classier with the silver wheels and I wouldn't say it was that low either.

Very nice 8)

Agree regarding the headlight tints. if I end up having the bumper etc off to get the steamed up light looked at I will probably get em both de-tinted.

Very nice indeed, love the alloys

My original Zed had a problem like that with one of the lights. The previous owner had replaced a bulb and not fitted the back plate correctly.

To fix it I took the back plate off and left it in my garage for a day then fitted some cotton wool to a cane (cant get your hands in) to drain out any excess water that had settled.

I then heated the rubber seal on the backplate so it expanded back to its original shape then refitted.

Didn't have any issues after that.

If its the car i think it is then you are so right. It has the gloss wheel and so on so guess it is.

Those headlights hve been split to paint the inners so there could be an issue there.

Yup, it's the car you are thinking of, link in the original post. Quick question: the mirrors seem very dark, is there a way to 'un-dim them'?

Very nice, I wouldn't change a thing, sits & looks great. Black wheels cheapen a black car IMO.

Looks great, I really like the steering wheel and roll hoops - lovely touches. I contemplated getting my steering wheel done but the quotes were too much so have ordered new parts from BMW Sopers who have been great.

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't that the car that was up for £20k six months ago?
