Just found out it has dsp too XD why couldn't it have had cruise?? Only thing that's missing :(

Retro fit it, it's not world ending.

If you're willing to cut the existing lower cowl out as opposed to buying another, it's not even that expensive.

But not that easy to do on an ///M. Many have had retro fitted, but only by indi's. Nobody has managed to fit themselves. I've got the loom and will get a switch at sometime and have a play. Won't be for some time yet though.

Thanks for the compliments people :)
I fitted cruise to my e85 but need to know the details on how to fit it to the M. Until some info comes up I'll have to do without :(

Why do they call them Angel Eyes - I thought they were halo's?

Also was being followed by a 2012 z4 today in white - the halo's looked yellow compared to mine which appear bright white - maybe its the different colour or the new led lights.

Angel-halo ;)

Sim_Simma can you confirm the size rings you need for the lights. I thought you need 4 X 80mm rings but you have mentioned needing two slightly smaller rings.???

Cheers

Yeah if you have facelift bixenons and want to mount them behind the factory diffusers then you need one pair of 80mm rings for the outside and a pair of 70mm rings for the inside. You can glue the 80mm rings directly behind the outer diffusers but the with the inners you need to do some trimming on the inside of the diffuser to get the ring to sit flush.

Painted my door and wing today. Hopefully be on the car tomorrow:

Thats a superb finish

I even like your stands to let them dry

Did you paint them in the same place? And then use the lamp to dry them?

No I took them to work this time to try and avoid dust in the paint but still got plently in it :/
My boss used to own a body shop so has a bodywork background. It's a van hire company I work at now so fixes damage to his vans himself. I only used the lamps to help dry between coats.
Thanks btw :) I'll be fitting them roughly today.

Sat losely in place. It does match btw the other panels need a clean. The rear quarter is the same paint as the door and wing
