Was just wondering if this was ever on the forum? Had a 2.5 zed before but always wanted the full fat version when this beauty came up on an auction site. Its a cat d but she will be back in her prime when I'm done :)

certainly looks like a project,looking forward to seeing the finished pics and maybe step by step pics as you go along,did'nt scroll down far enough,great work. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
 
I'm assuming the chassis will be a bit bent/twisted and you may need to get it on a chassis jig to get everything straight. Once you do it'll probably be fine.

It's usually not worth the saving to buy a cat C/D unless you can do most of the work yourself, as you'll always have to pass on the saving after spending money out to fix it.
 
Looking good there buddy i looked at the route before i brought mine. If you dont mind me asking what did you pay? If you don't want to say on hear could you PM me i keep looking at them.......
 
Got it for 6k and theres no chassis damage at all believe It or not. It broke a brake disc, a ball joint and bent the flimsy rear arm (that flimsy you can bend it back with a tyre lever) obviously that will be replaced!. Thats all underneath. Everything else is cosmetic

How much do you think the repairs will set you back total?
 
It should be on the road for 7k :) mainly because I got lucky with 2 complete doors with mirrors airbags doorcards etc and a bootlid with wind deflecter for 50 quid! Already sold the wind deflecter for 110. So have 2 mirrors a door and a bootlid to sell.

Fantastic value. Whats the cars spec etc? How much do yiu think you'll save?

I don't think you can afford to be fussy on colour with an M! I think I was lucky with mine. Right price and damage not too bad. Also it was meant to be as every car ive had has been black :lol:
