Good work buddy you dont hang around do you.

that's quite a compliment coming from somebody whos practically rebuilt his whole car (and others) haha

things should be pretty steady now xmas, holidays and new job is all sorted.... next up is new wheels, front brake upgrade, few niggly bits that need perfecting, RPi scoop, maybe rear diffuser

plus any other things that I see I want in the meantime haha :fuelfire:

not yet, BUT.... I have a new rear wheel arch sitting at home that's been delivered today ready to replace the worn 1......

spoken with CJ and he removed his charcoal filter completely and has worked fine for 4 years so this weekend im going to remove mine and go from there.... :D

Good job on the springs/shocks
What charcoal filter are you talking about...?

This 1...

It's located underneath where the 2nd pipe runs from the quad conversion and they moved it out the way by moving it over a couple of inches which pushed the inside edge of the wheel arch in..... Which was fine at the time as I had 25mm spacers on so there was an extra 25mm to play with on the inside.... Since lowering the tyre rubbed the outside edge so I removed the spacers and realised it fouled the inside edge and noticed the filter was the reason.... Turns out I can just remove it which will let the wheel arch liner sit back in natural position and not foul tyre :)

got myself a new //M undertray that im collecting sat morning! everything is starting to fall into place so fingers crossed my car will be finished in time for forum meets this summer and finally get to meet fellow forum members and show off my Z after having it for over a year and not actually showing a single person off here the Z :(

Zedfest would be closer to you but still almost 3hrs from yours (shepshed watermill)
Good day last year almost 100 Zed's

I don't mind traveling.... Just means my car will be dirty and covered in dead insects by the time I get here is all :(

Picked up the //M tray this morning from forum member Andy C, we met half way at Royston and I paid a very fair price of £120. We had spoke about it about a year ago when I put a wanted add up but he decided to keep it but never got round to fitting it (a bit like half the boxes of parts I have I still haven't got around to fitting haha) and he messaged me last week and we made a deal. Top bloke and has a lovely Z, I was gonna get a couple of photos of the 2 Zs but I was in a rush to get back in time for football so completely forgot, and now I have wheel envy as his 19s looked so good!!

Sopers quoted me around £150 I think
When was this, pretty sure it was £200 when I asked the dealers few months back, that was including the 10% discount that sopers give. If you can get 1 for £150 I'd say snap it up as its a good price

8th Feb. Forgot to note that's pre vat. So around £180

Is there a work around or a bodge for this? £200 seems a lot of money for something so out of the way

Was good to meet up today, you might have wheel envy but I have now got serious exhaust envy your Z makes a lovely noise going
up the road

Not bad for a 2.0 hey ;)

I couldn't even give it too much as had mum and the dog in the car..... Otherwise I would have been going round that round about sideways haha
