Jingles White 2.0i to 3.0Si conversion is FINALLY done!

SE v SI? Pre Facelift / Facelift?

As mentioned, I'm still bloody curious how many white Pre Facelift 3.0i Roadsters were made for the UK....mine could be 1 of 1 or not much more in view that there were only 51 alpine white models across 4 engine sizes / pre facelift / facelift. Does anyone know where this information can be found?

Still have no answer to this one....surely BMW would know?

Funnily enough, I had a brief run out with Jingle driving on Saturday morning!

OMG!!!!!!!! What a drive and sound. Not only does it look the part and goes like stink.

Ultra racing 3 point strut brace





Custom made wing mirrors



Big carbon fibre wing (yes I’m fully aware most will hate and say I’ve ruined it)

I live local to you Jingle and your car looks absolutely amazing but I did nearly crash when I spotted your wing for the first time in my rear view mirror when you turned off the A11 to avoid the road works southbound :rofl:

I saw your car at Zedfest and have to admire your dedication in creating another Alpine White 3.0Si.

I may not be a fan of the boot spoiler or front splitter, but that is irrelevant as it's your car and that's how you want it!

No he was dodging all the picnic items falling off the table

Jock, I had a quad conversion on the 2.0i engine, just updating the photos to show the complete new 3.0Si quad (same as you’ve seen)

Thanks Mr Tidy, fully aware some of the parts are not for everybody, but I just like to be that little bit different to the rest

[ref]JINGLE[/ref], hugely impressed by the dedication and attention to detail on your build, really well done! Some things may split opinions, but then we’re all different and I can only appreciate the outspoken -and sometimes bold!- choices you’ve made

As for the brake upgrade: can you elaborate on that? How did you overcome the handbrake design in the rear, what callipers are you running and what discs? Any specifically made parts to make it all work? I’d appreciate any insight you can share 8)
