Time to say goodbye to my deep sea blue 23i manual today. I was sad to see it go as it was a beautiful car however the blow was softened by the drive home in my new 3.0 auto Msport and my word is there a difference in power! The 23i was fun and certainly no slouch but you had to work the gears to get the most out of it. Obviously being auto there was no gear working on the drive home down the M1 but the extra 50+ BHP was clearly evident at every speed. Then there was the sport button when I hit the lanes nearer home and that was 'interesting' shall we say 
The auto box is going to take a bit of getting used to but certainly won't detract from the fun as I first feared. I made it home with the light fading but just managed to take a few pictures to keep everyone happy but i'll get some getter ones when the suns out
