Thanks for the comments brother, ill leave it be, once in the car it feels pretty good, the lack of power steering is no joke however! im going to change the wheel for something a little bit more special and the dash will be removed so it can be flocked.

Have you looked into some small lithium battery? I cannot stop myself from thinking the weight saving would be significant on such a small car, it would complete the rally look and a pretty small battery should manage to crank just fine? Liam22 manages to crank an N52 with a battery I would only trust to go into an RC Car![]()

I learnt to drive in my mums metros and have many great memories of them. Dodgy escapades, near misses and just general young driver shenanigans :lol: Perhaps the only ‘downside’ of buying this one is that you’ll miss out on the full metro experience by not having one that shakes violently as it hits top speed (104mph indicated iirc) :lol:
