Saturday morning at bricks and ques, park far side of a deserted car park and come back to this 30mins later.....



Is it just me or is parking right next to somebody (regardless of car) a bit daft when there's more than enough spaces for hit and miss parking.

WHY do they do it! Where does this stupid compulsion come from to come back park right next to someone in an empty car park.

Although, why did you leave a space either side ? Should have reverse parked as tight to the hedge as possible

I tend to park in the same kind of bay as you have, however be literally parked on the righthand line, rendering the right side bay useless, and giving more clearance on the left yes, i'm that guy.

Obviously not in a busy carpark..

I hate parking 'nice' cars in car parks, I had just parked a 944 Turbo in a multi story when the old guy next to me in Rover 75 reversed out and scraped both wing and door :-(

I did enjoy leaving my L200 or my Nissan Navara wherever I wanted!!

I think people subconsciously park next to another car because it's easier to judge where you are, which it is. But they're also mindless and don't realise some people actually care about their cars.

You should have;

a) reverse parked like a proper driver oke:
b) parked in the end spot so at least one side was safe.

In the end I sat on the kerb eating a bacon sarnie waiting to see who came back and supervise their departure.
