It started with a ///M & ends with a ///M / 1yr & 6 x Z4s

we could have quite a forum get together of Imola roadies with Lynchy , Cracker . Paulgs1000, Darren , yourself & myself :driving:

Damn common they are now... :fuelfire: (...and I added Darren in for you too ! )

You're obviously holding out for an Alpina and just saving the best til last :poke:

Looking good Andy, what induction will it be running?

Well as it has Supersprints im not sure i would get much audible pleasure from a high end induction kit & power gains for the £500+ spend are dubious to say the least :?
It came with RPI scoop but as ive not driven it yet can;t really comment on throttle pick up
Now i know "srhutch" has recently upsized to a larger property so if he were to feel the squeeze & needed rid of his Gruppe then i may step forward with my hand up :P :D

I'd rather sell one of Ed's kidneys than my GruppeM

Your cars look to have really shiny paint Mr Wilks, do you use a machine polisher? They look great
Rob

After much trialing though luckliy no erroring  ive now got a 4 stage process that i stick with
1) DA soft pad ( unless heavy swirls or chips ) Meglars Ultimate compound
2) DA soft pad 50Cal Glaze to add shine & mask any minor imperfections ( a Z4M-2006 tip)
3) DA soft pad Fusso Soft 99 , i have tried 50Cal Pentawax but its just not as good to use or in finish & is much more expensive
4) DA soft pad Collinite 845 Insulator to seal
remove all above by hand

Repeat 2,3,4 as & when as it can be layered which over time does build a very deep lustre

However Rob with your white car if its already in good order you could save a few £ & a load of time / effort
Just use Autosmart Topaz & achieve virtually the same finish with one product it lasts for ages

https://trustedcarproducts.co.uk/product-review/autosmart-topaz-polish

Just ordered the topaz polish to give it a go, I've not had a chance to look at my cars paint in detail but it seems pretty good with little swirling. I've got a meguires DA & some microfibre pads if it needs some correction.
Just need some decent weather so I can go outside for a while

Takes at least 5 Red M's to carry enough spare oil to keep an Alpina going

Just seen this. Excellent write up and photos as usual. Your new //M looks superb and I'll look forward to seeing it in the flesh.

Probably, and less likely to miss I guess

Great write up Andy and some lovely following comments.

I guess it will be a challenge to see if you keep this past October, or will the itch to step into the 35 take over? I suspect it will :poke:
