It started with a ///M & ends with a ///M / 1yr & 6 x Z4s

Great write up Andy & perfect choice  Is on my list for next zed & it's got to be imola :) enjoy your new car.

Six in one year is impressive OP.

Great to finish on a high too - Imola Z4MR is lovely (I'd have wanted a Coupe, but that is my personal preference, I just don't do Roadsters)

Can you really wait until March though? (Or do you have a mate with some trade plates so you can have a "test drive") .

Congrats.
I can't keep up. I know people who have been in hire cars longer than you keep a zed!
We should rename you the Z4 Chameleon! :poke: :)

Finally!!!! No 6 is revealed

As others have said great write up & pics mate. Looking forward to seeing more of your ///M in the NY! 8)

Nice one Andy cant do better than an imola with CSLs looking forward to more pics

Your pushing me toward the dark side!

I don't logon that regularly anymore, but you always seem to have a different car whenever I do...

looks great :D

plenty of great motoring history Mr Wilks :driving:
I've been through 3 z4's in a 6 week period, bought on unintentionally, admittedly

Mucho respect...With your broad range of ownership experience you'll be the go to guy for buying tips, etc
I joined the forum and bought my E89 around May 2015 so I see full circle with you back in an M roadster next year....... Beautiful in red (dark interior would be classic scheme)
Might be an agonizing wait until all the salt/corrosive chemicals are off the roads but worth it to keep such a good looking car in that condition.............And you've always got the coupe!.....For now(probably sold by Hogmanay!!)

Nice collection

What are the wheels on Z number 1????

I like those!!

They were Axe CS Lite 19s in a shadow chrome / hyper black finish
Looked great clean

Lovely looking zed, you really cant beat these machines for value right now.
When the other zmr went i didnt think you got on with the 3.2 motor, have you found a better driving example or is this package more complete?

What makes you think that :? I loved every minute of ownership & doubt i would have covered so many miles in such a short time if i wasn't getting on with it
I was more conscious of keeping it another year & adding another potential 6/7k taking it to 90k ( not concerned about mechanicals / more the residual ) along with every mile was a memorable one & as winter approached this time last year felt i would struggle to mirror the experience id already had , that along with watching E89 prices drop like a stone were the driving forces of selling the silvergrey M car

Great looking M Roadster. You must be itching to take it out for a spin.

Yea twitching
It arrived on lowloader so other than manoeuvres on the drive i've not even driven it properly :( does sound well though

The M looks stunning in that colour mate

Still got enough time this year though to out the coupe and get another Z to runaround in :poke:

Have you tried the wheels off the coupe on the M yet to see what it looks like?
