Is this the lowest mileage Garage Queen for sale?

I turned down buying a 365BB just after I'd bought my first house. It was half the cost of the house but SWMBO wouldn't let me remortgage it. I could be Mortgage free and substantially better off than I am if I'd just gone ahead and bought it :headbang:

When I asked Sytner the difference between an ///M and Alpina they said, " the Alpina's a cricketer and the ///M is a Rugby player

They remembered you turning up to look at the car and having your photo taken with it :D

I'm glad that I told you Stuart!

Congrats on the new motor Stuart  its a minter alright & i really like the spoiler too :)

Must be great to have such a low mileage example, enjoy picking it up :D

Did Direct Line accept the boot spoiler if they do not accept strut braces?

Does not matter if it is factory fitted, you officially have to list all extras (i.e. compared to the base model).

Satnav, PDC, heated seats, blue tooth - the lot. Check their exact wording as Churchill says in their document "including factory fitted options".

Just checked Direct Line's policy and they do include factory fitted extra as a modification (page 32):

Modifications are changes
to your car’s standard specification, including optional extras.

Are you saying I need to phone direct line and tell them I have satnav, 6 cd changer, phone prep, non-standard 108s, cup holders etc ?

Yes, if you don't list the extras, they are not covered. When I take a policy out, I email a copy of the factory invoice I have.

If you don't list the extras (as per them), you are not covered for any of them. Not to mention this pathetic line they have on the same page that if you don't, your policy might be invalidated.

Feck. I thought factory fitted options were standard. Thanks or reading my policy for me :D

I went through this pain with Churchill (same group) and they follow the same madness. They wanted to charge something like £20 extra for having BlueTooth in the car "as it made it more likely for the car to be stolen'. That is when I asked to speak to a supervisor and he agreed to not add anything to the premium for that.

Even PDC had a load to the policy according to them.

Bollocks to them, I'll send them a list of the VIN printout then as a declaration and let them make of it as you will. That's bloody ridiculous.

Admiral was the same, no increase in premium for Nav, BT, top HiFi but wanted to charge extra for heated seats and pdc.

Can't remember if I said about the spoiler though now :|

#69 is a "Lux" spec, so everything standard out of the factory incl Nav, spoilers etc and she was recognised as a Lux when insuring her, so no problemo. This one I suppose I'd better sort it out by the book. Makes me wonder what the S-Max status is too :?

I hate insurance companies, legalised robbery.

Thinking about Gap insurance now. BMW offered their ridiculously priced offering which I said I'd think about after researching. There was a really useful thread on here that got a quote for a little over £100 for 3 years.

Where's the strut brace? Did BMW remove it? If so, make sure they give you the correct nuts with the brace.
Looks lovely and I even like the spoiler having see these photos

I've just seen your other thread, you're selling the strut brace you bought for #69. I'd presumed your ///M was coming with one attached hence your insurance concerns...
