Deffo an Alpina. Enough torque for anyone and really good fuel economy compared to an ///M
Plus a body kit to die for...

dont just opt for the biggest engine if its not the best example you have found
Couldn't agree more, exactly the point I was trying to make earlier.ZeeFore said:As another poster mentioned, there's no absolute best and it will depend on your approach to driving.
If you're a track aficionado I'm sure the 3.0 is the way to go, but for "normal" road and freeway driving I've never felt let down by my 2.5i, and it has never given me the impression that it was at the limits of its performance capabilities. Maybe I'm just a bit of an old lady behind the wheel (apologies to old ladies everywhere), but the car has always had the reserve to push a bit harder when needed, so why would I need a bigger engine?
Of course if bragging rights are important (as in "mine's bigger than yours"), then the 3.0 it must be!
Whatever. Enjoy your Zed!!

You can get these on 2.0 + M Seats, Wheel & lower stiffer suspenshion
which is alot lighter and just as much fun to drive.

My 2003 2.5 SMG has all those (apart from ugly silver grille and silver jappo headlights)plus satnav, park assist, heated seats, dream red Oregon leather, Carver stereo, bluetooth, cup holders, luggage nets, interior mood lighting, cruise control', yawn, yawn, must I go on... oh, and less than 20K miles.
You forgot the 3.4 in there...........Finisterre said:I gotta say gizmos and engine size are totally irrelevant to me.
What really matters is the pose, roof down cruising, twirly driving on interesting roads, having a pretty car.
2.0 2.2 2.5 3.0 3.2 pfft!
Colour, wheels, interior, the rest is testosterone.
