Its not just an apple thing, while most phones are plastic and therefore don't bend and retain the bend the internet is rife with numerous phones snapping or cracking screens when being put in pockets.
So you are saying its common sense not to put a phone in your pocket and sit down? :?
simonlpearce said:I don't think its an issue of sitting on it, more that if its in your front pocket it will naturally bend with the crease in your trousers. Its not like its a small thing either and would sit in the bottom of your pocket like phones of the past did. In fact im amazed it even fits in pockets.

tomscott said:The adoption of IOS8 is at 46% already when only the iPhone 4 and up can use it, pretty impressive adoption that 46% is apparently equates to 85% of current active devices. The figures are no where near the same with android, Kit Kat was announced in October 2013 nearly a year ago and adoption figure is 24%.

Still so long as it's got that little Apple stamped on the back people will buy them.

That is unfair. Your car would not work trying to get up a muddy mountain either, you would use an appropriate car for that.
Same here, if you want to put it in your pocket, buy the standard 6 - if you want a tablet, don't put it in your pocket, they have a better product for that.
