iPhone 6 Plus bend! WARNING!

So apparently this chap (see the inline video in the piece) sat down on his iPhone 6+ that was in his back pocket and it bent. No Sh!t sherlock. Perhaps all the phone manufacturers should employ this slender chap to do their back pocket sit on your tech test!

The update IOS 8.0.1 which was released yesterday only effects the 6 and 6 plus which made them useless as the touch ID and network services stopped working. All other devises work fine with it although they have pulled the update asked people to download IOS8 through iTunes but they have disabled the Health app and will be fixed in the upcoming iOS 8.0.2 software update.
IOS8 has made my iPhone 4S very laggy to the point it is a pain to use.
It might just be a phone but they are replacing most items normal people use like their laptop etc so it is a big deal from some people especially paying £6-900 for them.
I haven't noticed an lag on my 4S.
I cant complain about my 4S one bit. I got it when the 4s first came out whenever that was. Never had a case on it, screen had never smashed, its been dropped, been thrown out of a car, been offshore and gone flying in rough weather very often, been soaked a few times. The only thing wrong with it is the power button has broken. Been like it for about a year, but I cant be arsed to fix it.
Will probably get a 6 when the hype dies down though.
GF loves her 4s as well. Just thought I would throw that in!
Love my 5S too so perhaps it's true about the 'S' models.
the power button has just gone on my 4s too. new one will be here in the next few days and it'll take about an hour for me to take it apart i recon.
don't think ill go with anther iPhone... prob a htc or android just depends on the cost of the handset. tbh i don't do much more than listen to music, take pics and the internet... maybe the odd game and app for the bank/ebay so any half decent phone will do when this one gives up the ghost. i might be forced to upgrade as ive refused os updates and if 8 is going use up 1/2 my space then ill carry on.
apple havn't had a good time in the press recently, with dimwits putting them in the microwave, the U2 bloatware thingy, bent phones and the os updates. really feels like they are behind the curve. steve jobs will be turning in his grave

You might not think it is, but compare it to a 5 or 5s and its sooo slow the 5s works as it should with ios7 and 8, when you go back to the 4s it is very noticeable. Talking 50% better performance in the 5S and 100% on the 6, ios8 wasn't designed for the 4s or 4 they were designed for IOS4 and 5, barely any of the new features are actually available, neither to an extent was ios7 thats why they run so poorly.
I like the 4/4s design but the original was the best and the new one has almost the same design, the rounded corners are much more ergonomic imo.
The S models are the ones to buy imo as they polish the design and function the solid number phones bring to the table.

Take a look at the share price. Bet they are still rejoicing. They have risen from $75 in May to $100 now. Peaked a week ago at around <$103

Indeed CJ. I don't suppose too many Apple shareholders will be complaining too loudly. Especially those that have owned the stock for many years....
