Bummer on the battery buddy, I thought your intravee was easy to access?
Wimped out, didn't remove the nav unit & thought I would try the less invasive method as a first step.
Dribbled some pfte spray over a needle and let a small amount feed the plastic area that clip together at the sides. Also did a few other parts under the glovebox, for the time being, I now have a rattle & creak free car
I did find something I have no idea what it is, below the glovebox, about an inch in towards the bulkhead there is a small rectangular piece of plastic that has a rattle, rotates freely, and doesn't seem to have a method of fastening it tighter? Checked on my wife's car & exactly the same. Bit of adhesive foam sees it not rattle, but what is the part? Seems to have a lip at one edge, but cannot see how / if it is meant to clip into the plastic to the left of it (looking towards the front of the car).
Thanks again for all your help on Saturday!
