Bing said:I'm pretty sure it is intravee related - but it's never affected only one headlight before, which makes me wonder. When they don't work they spend some time vibrating up and down very slightly, which in theory could wear out the stepper motor I guess. Hopefully disconnecting the battery will reset everything sufficiently that they work again, and I will resist the urge to tinker with settings![]()
Does it matter which lead I remove though ?

Thought I'd got it wrong, phew.
Bing, thought your gremlins were intravee related with the lights from what I read? Your posts stopped me putting the halos as DRLs just to be safe. Interestingly couldn't get the brake lights to illuminate on unlock on the M, but worked fine in the coupe.
Think I've read every post on the vent removal....the nav removal just adds a whole new dimension of challenge & ability to f*** up when I couldn't even manage the easy 'step one' of vent removal!
This thread could now appear in a search for intravee, vents, cameras, nav, lights, Thai, rattles, CDV benefits, circular saws...anything else? Plus with the benefit of adding zero value to anyone who clicks on the link
pvr said:The screen removal is simple though. When you removed the vent, there are two legs sticking down from the screen . Just two screws there.
Just remember to remove the plastic rear of the satnav screen on the dash as there are 3 screws underneath. Srhutch should recognise that bit as he drove around for years without putting the screws in ….

Surely that must have rattled?
I think my issue is what to do once (IF  ) I get the screen out, love to find a piece of clip not seated correctly but doubt I will be that lucky. Screen surround all seems aligned & not as though something is out of position.

Will give the lights menu another look then![]()
