Inflation
zero real pay rises / zero bonuses
Interest rates going up
housing market stagnant / house prices falling
recession (no housing market movement, no one buying related goods)
god knows who in government (capable of doing god knows what)
another Scottish referendum

I'm just going to carry on with my normal life, I don't think either way will have much effect on me

if I can't afford to go away on holiday I will have a holiday in the uk and if I can afford something bought from abroad I will find an alternative in the uk

I didn't look at the in-out vote as a vote for or against Farage , , he was just a puppet for the press to wave around

I always ask " would you buy a used car from Nigel garage ? " everyone says no , so why would anyone trust him with anything to do with the country . He was making a speech this morning mixing the words election and referendum up , the berk probably thinks he's pm now .

Indeed I do have one up for sale at the mo downside to the upside is less demand from UK buyers due to the poor exchange rate :wink: hence my non vote as no matter in or out I couldn't see a win or loss in my own circumstance :?

I wouldn't worry about uk buyers , they've been out of the market a few years now , good market of French buyers at the lower end of the market , my neighbours son has been looking at mine , here's hoping !
We may get a result out of the leave decision yet

I smiled when this turned up in my FB feed the other day, never imagining that a majority would vote for such a huge step into the unknown. Well, it's going to be an interesting few years that's for sure...

Interesting times certainly ahead for us, but I know one thing right now - the Remain supporters aren't half sore losers.

We are fortunate to live in a democracy where the population have voted. Accept it and stop whinging.

We are not all about to be engulfed in a tidal wave of poverty, pestilence and sexually transmitted diseases.

For me, this quote from a guardian piece summed it up. If this had actually been considered and an attempt to address been made during the last 5 years of government, Cameron may not have found himself in this mess.

They tried to protest previously by voting UKIP but 4Million-odd found that their voices weren't heard as they got no seats and no one paid any attention. Such a huge, monumental misjudgement by the government that will echo for years to come.

Thats interesting Andy - a non vote. I think this was part of the problem many people had trying to make a sensible decision - neither choice seemed to have an obvious upside, either in the short term or long term. And any supposed advantages for staying or leaving was imo argued well either way

imo they argued like school kids and therefor a proper decision was hard to make, I don't trust any politicians and they all make the facts fit what they think is best for themselves

oh and I trust those in Brussels even less, at least ours we only have to put up with for 5 years then we get the chance to kick them out and start again
