Having said that, the sellers opinion that he had several buyers lined up, willing to pay 2 or 3 times the asking price was clearly nonsense - as a standard bonnet would sell for peanuts and anyone would be crazy to ship one from the UK to Spain - where I'm sure they are reasonably easy to source.

It isn't nonsense. ///M bonnets do go for 2 or 3 times the price if you're lucky. I believe this is due to the rarity of the part. If I'm correct, they are £1200 new!

SE and msports do not however, and I have seen a few listed in the region £200-400 in mint condition...

3. No I did not. As you can even see in the OP emails, I have clearly and explicitly stated to him the picture and car is not mine, just to show to him what the colour was like as it's similar. This bonnet is not an ///M and we all know that. But what I'm saying is that the bonnet was removed from an msport Z4. You have se Z4's and msport Z4's.

Bullshit you mentioned colour...not once, what you mentioned was the bonnet was like the one pictured, you never mentioned colour, and the picture is of an M bonnet which the guy hasn’t received. Pay the man back and stop squirming.

You send him the bonnet back and then he’s had you pay for it, sent it back to him for free....aaaaaaaand he’s got your initial payment. I’m afraid you either chalk this one down to experience and write if off or go small claims court and a LOT of hassle with the chance of getting anywhere the square root of zero. I said not worth my time as I had better things to do rather than argue. If you look through my previous posts I'm sure I have mentioned somewhere that I have been struggling with life in general and was part of the reason why my communication was poor. The pic is of an M bonnet....you said here “Yes it’s like the one pictured”. You didn’t mention colour, you refused to open the parcel to check if it’s an M bonnet, you sent a non M bonnet after being paid for an M bonnet. That’s scamming...end of. I’m expecting Remus back boxes tomorrow from Angelus and I’ve not a shred of doubt that’s what I’ll receive. Not one even slightly difficult transaction and everyone did as everyone said they’d do. It ain’t difficult....send what you’ve offered and what you’ve been paid for....how hard can it be....??

That’s very strange as the bushes I sold last year, that the buyer claimed not to have received months after, which I proved was a lie and then heard nothing.....Earlier in this chat you claim I sold them you and they were the wrong size...which was never mentioned before.... were sold to Sail....not SnoopD ..... Sail IS another one of your accounts.

JPZ4 I’m afraid you’ve lost your money, best you can do now is try to sell the bonnet you received and as a friendly word if I might, check who you’re buying off, pm long time members if you want to see if they know the seller etc. There are lots of fantastic members on here but I’m afraid you’ve copped for the bad one, it’s sad to see but put it behind you and move on.

There’s an SE and a Sport model which both have the same bonnet, there’s no such thing as a Z4 msport bonnet.
You’ve implied you were selling an M bonnet by sending a picture to your buyer of an M bonnet.
You’ve conned this chap & now seem to be dancing on a pinhead over the wording you’ve chosen to use in the ad.
