I HAVE BEEN SCAMED

It’s bloody ridiculous. In the last 5 months I’ve bought and sold parts with Truth, SiJar, TomK and Angelus. Cash on collection with Truth and items exactly as described. SiJar paid straight away and I sent item I’d showed. TomK offered power loop back boxes and AP 6 pot brakes....I got power loop boxes and AP 6 pots. I’m expecting Remus back boxes tomorrow from Angelus and I’ve not a shred of doubt that’s what I’ll receive. Not one even slightly difficult transaction and everyone did as everyone said they’d do. It ain’t difficult....send what you’ve offered and what you’ve been paid for....how hard can it be....??
 
At least refund the purchase price and let the buyer sell it locally to try to get something back from the shipping costs, it is never worth it to ship a standard bonnet back as the shipping will be way more than it is worth.

As an aside - is the PayPal transaction funded by a credit card in your case JPZ4? My PayPal account is paid for by my CC and I claimed on my CC when PayPal would not step in.
 
I have both bought and sold items on this Forum and have always been pleased with the outcomes. The members I have dealt with have been friendly, polite and trustworthy in every sense. The key element in the process is trust and unfortunately that is easily damaged when things go wrong. As they they appear to have done on this occasion. These two guys need to find a solution which may involve an element of compromise on both sides. To do so is in their interest and also in everyone else’s interest who buys and sells here.

Things do go wrong in life but it’s how mistakes are corrected that matters.
 
SnoopD claiming ignorance of the bonnet type is clearly bollocks given the first screen shot of the email where he claims he could have gotten 3x the amount paid ie. exactly what an M bonnet costs these days.

You scammed him. Full stop. Pay him back.

Sorry I didn't answer your question. No I am not a dealer. And I'm sorry if it comes across as me arguing with people, I'm just trying to explain what has happened...

I knew it. One of the very reasons I hate sharing personal things. Some people can be very nasty and judge a person by saying things like that. My reply to you was of a genuine and sympathetic nature and was an attempt to put you on a path towards finding a method of getting your problems sorted. Other people have also responded in a similar manner. They were the comments I would have expected to your, what seemed like a genuine, plea for help.

Nothing but help was proffered on that post.

Derogatory comments like that aren’t helping your position whatsoever.

Yes I completely agree with you and thank you for your advice. Everyone who took the time to respond and help - it was genuinely appreciated. I did read them all but didn't reply.

It's just the fact some people have mentioned about my wife and kid and making their own assumptions...

I’ve bought and sold with no problems but there’s also plenty of idiots on here I wouldn’t deal with and the list has just grown !

I hope he answers three things

1. Are you also going by the usernames Aeroadster and Sail?
2. Are you a trader?
3. Did you deliberately mislead someone into believing they were buying an M bonnet rather than a standard bonnet?

1. I have another account with user name Aeroadster yes not sail no.
2. I am not a trader
3. No I did not. As you can even see in the OP emails, I have clearly and explicitly stated to him the picture and car is not mine, just to show to him what the colour was like as it's similar. This bonnet is not an ///M and we all know that. But what I'm saying is that the bonnet was removed from an msport Z4. You have se Z4's and msport Z4's.

You sent him a pic of an M bonnet and gave him a normal bonnet at an inflated price,You know what you have done.

Give him his cash back you complete w@snkstick,be a man and not think about the cash for once.
