Ok,
So the tiny little halogen bulbs in the OEM angel eyes have done my head in since I fitted my facelift xenons, I mean what is the point, they are so dim as to be pointless. That, and the fact that as the bulb is "captive" meaning an eye watering price for replacements, unless you "mod" it, meant they had to go..
So I had these left from my Sonars, as [ref]jamie_z4[/ref] didn't want them.. 200 lumens, and a 5yr warranty from Halfords, 15 quid, or 7.50 with trade card for a pair.

So, out with the factory angels, and their excuses for bulbs! Then to dremmel away the factory melted bits holding the two halves together.

This allows you to pull out the bulbholder along with it's captive bulb.

I then dremmel'd away the brass holder, leaving me with the two connector pins poking up from the connector base, forgot to take pics of how I shaped the pins, but did it so they would touch each side of the bulb pcb, holder before dremmel.

I then soldered the LED into place, before securing with araldite rapid.

Had to make the hole in the holder bigger to accommodate the led base, before.

After.

Then assembled, again with araldite rapid.

Won't let me add any more pics, so finished item in next post...
